Due to the special situation of the COVID pandemic that we are going through one of our main suppliers, the one that makes the navigation from Puerto Toro to Puerto Natales on the last day of the excursions, had to make some changes to its service. These changes affect the itinerary of our excursions as we will explain in detail below.
Changes
On the last day of the excursions, we paddle in the Laguna Serrano and return to Puerto Natales by catamaran, which includes a stop for roasted lamb lunch in a estancia. Due to the current regulations of the pandemic, the company made some changes to its service. Currently it does not offer lunch at Estancia Perales or the hike that it used to take along a trail. That is why the catamaran arrives earlier at Puerto Toro (where it picks us up) and returns earlier to the city. As a result, we do not have time to paddle in the Laguna Serrano on the morning of the last day of the excursion.
In order to maintain the experience of paddling in the lagoon as part of the excursion, we offer the client some alternatives to change the itinerary. You can choose the alternative you prefer when making the reservation.
It is important to point out that if the client prefers to keep the same breakfast schedule and return on the first catamaran in the morning, giving up paddling in the lagoon, they can also do so. But the value charged for the excursion will not be modified for this reason (only the discount for lunch that is no longer included is maintained).
Get up earlier
- 5:30h Breakfast
- 7h Paddle in Serrano Lagoon
- 9h Return to camp to order equipment
- 10h We take the catamaran back to Puerto Natales
- 12:30h Arrival in Puerto Natales
Times are estimated
Take the afternoon navigation (subject to availability in the navigation)
We have all day in Puerto Toro. We can get up later, paddle calmly in Laguna Serrano and even go for walks. The catamaran passes by us at 5:30 p.m., leaving us in Puerto Natales at 7 p.m.
That alternative would include a box lunch.
We do not paddle in the Serrano lagoon
- 7h Breakfast
- 8h We order our equipment to take the catamaran
- 9h Walk along the trail to the Glacier viewpoint
- 10h The catamaran pick us up in Puerto Toro
- 12:30h Arrival in Puerto Natales
discounted prices
Due to the fact that the excursion would not include lunch on the last day, we make a discount on its price

It is important to keep in mind that we do not know how long these changes in the navigation service will last. If the service has returned to normal for the date you booked your excursion, we will have to charge the original value of the kayak excursion, since there is no other alternative than including lunch.
